Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most of my students are complete beginners, and no prior experience is needed.

Lessons are designed to be fun, supportive and easy to follow from the very first session. We focus on building confidence early on, so the child feels comfortable and enjoy learning.

  • In the first lesson, we focus on making the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

    Your child will:

    • Get familiar with the drum kit

    • Learn a simple rhythm

    • Play along to music

The goal is for your child to feel comfortable, enjoy the experience, and leave the lesson feeling positive and encouraged.

  • Most beginners are able to play a simple rhythm in their very first lesson with the right guidance.

From there, lessons focus on building coordination, timing and confidence, with steady and enjoyable progress week by week.

My at-home lessons are currently available in South East London, particularly: New Cross, Deptford, St Johns, Brockley, Peckham, and surrounding areas.

Lessons at my own studio take place in New Cross (SE8 4PJ) with limited weekly availability between 1pm and 6pm.

  • 30-minute lessons are ideal for younger beginners, while 45 or 60-minute sessions suit older students or those with some experience.

The starting price for these services is £30 for studio lessons and £40 for at-home lessons, which includes my travel fee.

Lessons are fun, supportive, engaging, and designed to build confidence, focus and strong foundations.
